Mount Makes a Statement at All-Ohio

#24 Mount Union
upset conference rivals #12 Ohio Northern en route to a second place overall finish (DIII) Friday at the 2008 All-Ohio Championships in Delaware.

The Purple Raiders fell short of regional rival #14 Case Western but defeated several other teams ranked within the Great Lakes Region's top 10 including an up-and-coming Denison team.

Baldwin-Wallace showed there could be a new face in the top three at the OAC Championships in three weeks after defeating Heidelberg and Otterbein.

Heidelberg's Devin Butcher continued his impressive form finishing 3rd overall in Division III--the first OAC runner to cross the line.

Question for OC folks. Where was your frosh Bussell today? Didn't see him in either results. Also what in the world is going on w/ Lasch? He wouldn't have even been on varsity for ONU, Mount or OC.

Bussell is fine. He had some academic commitments he couldn't get out of for the meet. He will be running in the varsity race next weekend.

What happened to the series with All-Ohio, Conference & Regional fantasy picks?

How will this change the national & regional rankings?

Case will move to #2, Mount will be #3 and ONU will be #4 in the region.
